The Lab
The Multimedia and Networking Research Lab (LPRM) at UFES focuses on research and innovation in multimedia systems, computer networks, and intelligent cybernetic systems. Funded in 1996 and now, jointly with DSL, NERDS and LIFE, LPRM is part of the Intelligent Cybernetic Systems research group.
Our group develops advanced solutions in areas such as:
- Internet of Things
- Immersive experiences
- Collaborative systems (crowdsourcing)
- Networked multimedia applications
- Blockchains
- Network security
- Data privacy
- Distributed Learning and applied Artificial Intelligence.
LPRM brings together faculty, students, and partners to advance knowledge and technology for real-world impact.
